How to Install python-liblas software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-liblas software package provides Python module to use the ASPRS LiDAR data translation library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-liblas

python-liblas is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-liblas package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-liblas *

You will get with python-liblas package name, version, architecture and description in a table
